For some, personalized wedding favors are seen as one more useless frou frou item. After all, with all the things you have to do as a bride, why worry about some silly favor that will end up in the trash hours after the wedding? Well, wedding favors can do more than just decorate a table. And personalized ones are even more special. This article explains why and how they can make your wedding--and/or reception--wonderful.

Personalized wedding favors, when given before the ceremony, are a great way to say, "Welcome! We're glad you're here for our celebration." Simple favors with your and your spouse's names and the date not only spread this message, but give your guests another item to admire. The next point should be obvious, but it's going to be mentioned anyway. There are so many ways to personalize your wedding favors that trying to decide on a perfect one will be difficult. But please, don't humiliate your friends and/or family. Make the personalization suitable and appropriate. Remember, your guests won't all be adults. Be aware of this and choose your favors wisely.

Last but certainly not least, relax! Enjoy the party. Give your guests to talk about your wedding, your reception and (of course) your wonderful favors and how special they are. After all, you spent a great deal of time and energy selecting these favors for your friends and family. Wouldn't it be nice to know that your work wasn't in vain?
