I have heard stories about different methods on wedding dress preservation and would love to hear the opinions of my fellow brides out threre... which option did you choose? Any regrets or comments from brides that have had preservation done? Thanks for your help

Preservation is a scam. Unless your dress is silk, all the cleaners do is spray it down with industrial stain cleaner, turn it inside out and throw it in a king size front loading washing machine. They hang it to dry, then fold it into a box and "seal" it.
Back in the 50′s and before, it was necessary to do this to actually preserve the gown. Now, everything is made from polyester blends and will probably outlast even the wearer.
If it is pretty clean, all you need is a breathable bag to keep it in.
Also, take into consideration why you want to keep it preserved. Do you hope your daughter will wear it? Did you or would you have worn your mom’s? Probably not. Are you hoping to wear it on your 25th anniversay? I have yet to met a woman who can fit into hers after 25 years.
I sold mine within 2 weeks of my wedding. I couldn’t think of any good reason to keep it.
