Wedding dress preservation recommendations?

I am looking for recommendations for a place to send my wedding dress to be preserved. I've heard some horror stories and so I'm scared to leave it with just anyone. I live on the North Shore in Massachusetts. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
